My design work tends to be information-driven, that is, I start with the desired result and build out from there so everything is aligned around a single goal. I believe that good design does not call attention to itself, rather, it frames ideas so that they are easily understood and affirmed.


  • Fifteen years as Creative Director for strategic marketing firm, developed and executed brand identity in all client-facing permutations (web site, Office templates, email newsletter, social media and more)

  • Visualized marketing approaches for clients including Microsoft, Dell, VMware and TiVo

  • Supervised redesign of Taiwan's leading English-language newspaper

  • Designed and produced interactive training materials for audiences ranging from IT admins to elementary students
